Marvin Bass had vision to provide the students of North Carolina Central University with more affordable, high quality, NCCU paraphernalia. That vision lead to the establishing of Eagleland, a small store located in the Lakewood Shopping Center in March of 1994. In 1996, a second Eagleland store was launched on Fayetteville Street, closer to NCCU’s campus.
After operating at both locations for two years, Mr. Bass closed his shop in the Lakewood Shopping Center and focused completely on the Fayetteville Street store. For the past twelve years, Eagleland has had its focus on serving those individuals who are searching for North Carolina Central paraphernalia at a low cost.
